Michelle Spriggs is Margaret River’s most sought after wedding and events musician. Originally from New Zealand, Michelle made the South West home after completing a Bachelor of Music, specialising in Jazz Vocals. Performing in varies acts over the past 25 years, Michelle has been a WAM nominee, a choir conductor for Mama Kin Spender, recorded a self-produced EP of original songs and has played the support act with ‘Jazztrix’ at Leeuwin Estate for Michael McDonald, Boz Skaggs, Diana Krall, Chris Isaak and Carol King. Michelle’s expertise and experience in the music industry shows through her polished and entertaining performance.
Born and bred in the Deep South of New Zealand, Michelle finished up her Bachelor of Voice and headed for the sunny shores of Western Australia. The love of small community lead her to settle and create her business in music performance and tuition in Margaret River. A regular supporting the Leeuwin Estate yearly concerts, Michelle has opened for Carol King, Diana Krall, Chris Isaak and Michael McDonald. She is a seasoned, professional wedding singer and found her niche among the vines of the Margaret River region with her love of Jazz, Soul and Contemporary music. Michelle's seamless vocal ability has been likened to that of the iconic Adele and timeless Eva Cassidy. Proficient on both piano and guitar, Michelle is available as a soloist, Duo, Trio or 5 piece band.
